This involves discussing your concerns about your child and the impact their difficulty with communication is having on them and the family (if this hasn’t already been covered in my free initial phone consultation).
I will then spend some time observing your child playing with you and conduct some informal and/or formal assessment, depending on the child’s age and profile of need. I will give you feedback at the end of the session as to the nature of your child’s difficulties and communication strengths and make recommendations as to next steps, including whether therapy would be of benefit to your child. The entire appointment will last approximately one hour.
